When the sun’s out or the stars are shining, locals and visitors alike head to The View — the rooftop bar and restaurant atop 16 Bay View. With jaw-dropping panoramic views of Camden Harbor and the surrounding hills, it’s no wonder it’s one of the most talked-about spots in town.

Laid-back yet elevated, The View serves up craft cocktails and locally inspired bites in a stylish open-air setting. Whether you’re here for golden hour drinks, a casual dinner with friends, or just that perfect Instagram moment, The View is your front-row seat to everything Camden has to offer — from above. Open to guests of our hotels as well as the general public (and dogs too!). The View does not take reservations and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis for parties up to 6 people.
The View is open seasonally from early June to mid-October, weather permitting. We are unable to guarantee that The View will be open during your visit due to private events or inclement weather. We strongly encourage you to call ahead (207-706-7990) or visit us on Facebook for closures or weather delays.
Inspired by locally sourced ingredients and the spirit of creative global cuisine, our seasonal menus feature savory and sweet items (including vegan and gluten free), signature cocktails (including alcohol free), local beers, and a chef-curated wine list.
