Nothing celebrates the arrival of spring better than a Beach Party. Dance to the masterful mixes of DJ Jon, Portland's favorite DJ, with credentials spanning from radio, clubs, and television. DJ Jon is also a double platinum award winner, having worked with many major and local labels and artists. Our first annual Beach Party will certainly not be our last. Dress in your favorite beach attire, lather on the sunscreen, and dance the limbo as DJ Jon rock's the house! How low can you go?

The 2017 Camden Conference—“Refugees and Global Migration: Humanity’s Crisis” —will feature lively discussions with speakers chosen for their firsthand knowledge and strong views on migrant and refugee issues. They will explore the varied causes of the current international crisis and the unique challenges that come with accepting immigrants from particular countries, regions, and demographic groups. Dust off your pre-1996 vehicle and join us as we kick off the 2016 car show season! We’ll demonstrate as many pieces from our ground vehicle collection as we can squeeze into one weekend in an attempt to beat our 2015 record of more than 75 ground vehicles demonstrated during this event! The first antique aeroplane show of the 2016 season will dazzle visitors as our 1917 Curtiss Jenny makes its public return to the sky. Model T rides, free family activities and more will be offered. An evening of fun, food and surprises at Cellardoor Winery. Roll up your sleeves, and get ready to play at HoBo 2016. “So, come on down” and be ready to spin the wheel, buy a vowel, make a deal, or take a guess as we bring classic game shows to our vineyard. Four days of fun in the Midcoast! Local groups are joining together to throw a four day party with music, parades, fireworks, and breathtaking natural beauty. The North Atlantic Blues Festival, one of the more prestigious festivals on the East Coast will run for two days, July 16 and 17, 2016. The event will be held at the popular festival site, Harbor Park in Rockland, Maine, overlooking picturesque Rockland Harbor. Some of the top names in blues music will be featured on the Main Stage. Over 100 artists and craftspeople display and sell their work in scenic Camden Amphitheater, Harbor Park, and along Atlantic Avenue. Every Labor Day weekend, Camden hosts a windjammer celebration of maritime heritage. Throughout the day on Friday, Schooners from around Maine sail in and dock in our harbor—whether you’re a boat lover or not, it’s a spectacular site. The Camden International Film Festival returns to the midcoast for its tenth season. The festival will once again shine the spotlight on works that show dedication to craft and a unique and artistic approach to telling a darn good story. All films are selected because of their ability to arouse discussion on documentary film as an art form, a catalyst for change and as an outlet for the independent voice.
The 20th annual PopTech, referred to as a conference for "real thinkers" by WIRED, will take place October 20–22 in our hometown of Camden, Maine. What to expect? Three jam-packed days of brilliant stage talks, performances, workshops, conversations, happy hours, parties and our much loved randomly assigned lunches and dinners. In December, Camden is transformed into a festive and intimate fairytale town, complete with an enchanting star on top of the mountain overlooking the town. Christmas by the Sea, featuring a full weekend of activities, kicks off the season with a holiday parade, Santa’s arrival (by boat!) to the Midcoast, store-wide sales, free photos with Santa, open houses and craft fairs. A week-long celebration of winter beginning with ice carving and snow sculpting and culminating with the US National Toboggan Championships, fireworks, a snow plow parade, concert and dance, all with a festive Maine Mardi Gras theme. This amateur event started in the 1990s and has swelled into a serious affair, with people coming from all over the U.S and overseas, often with their wooden toboggans roped to the roof of their family SUVs. As always, this year's Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour features a collection of the most inspiring and thought-provoking action, environmental, and adventure mountain films. Traveling from remote landscapes and cultures to adrenaline packed action sports, the 2016 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.
